For the past 20 years, he has served as the Chief Technical Officer at M/s ARD Group, a leading auto manufacturing firm based in the Cherlapally Industrial Estate of Hyderabad. With a deep-rooted expertise in both the technical and strategic facets of the business, Mr. Chabria has played a pivotal role in the development, design, and manufacturing of various models of petrol and diesel-powered autos.
Mr. Ashok Chabria’s hands-on involvement in the technical and engineering side of the business has been instrumental in positioning M/s Rap Eco Motors as a leader in the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) market. With a vision for sustainable mobility, he played a critical role in the establishment of the company’s manufacturing facility dedicated to E-Autos in Cherlapally, marking a key milestone in the firm’s evolution.
In December 2019, under his leadership, M/s Rap Eco Motors successfully launched its flagship E-Auto (L3 Version), a breakthrough product in the electric vehicle sector. This model, designed for urban transport, is powered by a high-performance lithium-ion battery pack that delivers superior range and efficiency, designed to meet the demands of both passenger transport and cargo applications. The vehicle is equipped with an advanced regenerative braking system, ensuring optimal energy recovery and increased overall efficiency. Mr. Pramod Chabria is one of the esteemed Chief Operating Officer of the ARD Group, bringing over 30 years of extensive experience in the trading and manufacturing sectors. A dynamic leader with a clear vision for growth, Mr. Chabria has been instrumental in shaping the trajectory of the ARD Group.
In 2004, his innovative approach led to the establishment of the ARD EXIM division, focusing on imports and exports. Under his guidance, the company ventured into manufacturing Three-Wheeler Passenger Autos (Petrol/Diesel) and Pick-Up Vans, producing both 2-stroke and 4-stroke variants. This initiative not only enhanced the company’s product portfolio but also positioned it as a leader in the three-wheeler manufacturing industry.
Continuing his legacy of innovation, Mr. Chabria recently spearheaded the company’s entry into the electric vehicle market by launching the production of Battery-Operated Three-Wheelers. Lt. R. Balakrishnan IN (Retd)
Lt R. Balakrishnan is a Gold Medalist in Electronics Engg from Madurai Kamaraj University. Commissioned in the Indian Navy in 1985, he has the Distinction of serving as the ADC to the Governor of AP, during which time he undertook many prestigious projects of National importance and completed them successfully, for which the Governor of AP has awarded a Shield for Meritorious Service. While he was posted on Board INS Betwa, he participated in the Maldives Coup “Operation - Cactus”, for which he was awarded the commendation by the FOC-in-C, Southern Naval Command in 1990.
His dream to become an Entrepreneur & to pursue his business dreams and for the last about 3 decades he has steered successfully his own Computerization and IT hardware and Software businesses in Hyderabad. With his strengths in Banking & Finance Management, Vendor Relationships, Contract Negotiations, Tender Preparations, Project Management, and Business value propositions, Lt. Balakrishnan is currently leading the manufacturing of battery-driven electric autos to support the Government of India’s Green Energy initiative. As the Chief Executive Officer of Rap Eco Motors, he oversaw the development and successful launch of the L3 version of the E-Auto in 2019, incorporating high-performance lithium-ion battery packs that offer improved range and efficiency, alongside regenerative braking systems for energy recovery. The vehicle also meets stringent safety standards, with ARAI certification from Pune and ICAT certification from Manesar.
As the CEO of Rap Eco Motors, Lt. R. Balakrishnan oversees the strategic direction, technology development, operational efficiency, market expansion, and customer satisfaction efforts of the company.
